Propex Heatsource HS2000E Heater – The Gas & Mains Blown Air Heater

The Propex HS2000E heater is an automatic thermostatically controlled blown air heating system fuelled by propane/ butane gas or 230V mains electric.

Control

The HS2000E is supplied as standard with a solid state electronic thermostat which automatically switches the unit on and off to maintain the desired temperature. When the room temperature drops below the selected level, the Heatsource will automatically ignite and run until the cabin reaches the selected temperature.

Easy to install

The thermostat is an easy-to-fit surface mount design and integrates with the new electronics fitted to the HS2000E heaters. Simple intuitive controls enable easy switching between the gas and electric modes and a constant heater feedback loop enables quick and easy system diagnosis. Selectable electric hook-up power levels easily ensure you do not overload your available supply.

Gas Efficiency

With forced air combustion and the Propex two-stage stainless steel heat-exchanger, the HS2000E is a clean and highly efficient way to heat your vehicle or boat. Air for combustion is taken from outside your caravan or boat and passed into the combustion chamber having been mixed with gas during three aeration stages, it is ignited automatically and heats up the large surface area of the heat exchanger. The Heatsource units are totally room sealed and exhaust all products of combustion externally through the neat 22mm i.d. stainless steels flue pipe. To add to the efficiency, cabin air is normally re-circulated in preference to using cold air from outside. The HS series heaters are also very efficient on12 volt electrical current consumption drawing less than 1.7 amps on gas operation or 2.2 amps during mains electric operation.

Mains Electric

For those using a mains hook up there is the option of using the powerful electric element with an efficient heat exchanger built-in. Three settings are available giving 500W, 1 KW, or 2 KW of heat output and drawing a maximum current of 9 Amps. The motor speed is altered to suit each power level to ensure maximum efficiency or, when on low 500w setting keeping motor and air noise to a minimum for night time running. The heater is supplied with a mains cable and moulded 3 pin plug.

Features & Safety

Quiet Operation

Propex heaters are designed to be quiet in operation without compromising air throughput and heat output. There will always be some air noise from a system that produces a healthy throughput of air, however, by using high-quality balanced fans and smooth enclosed motors with ball race bearings, noise is kept to a minimum. Noise is also unaffected by high voltage, a common occurrence with battery charges, solar panels, etc permanently wired. The micro-processor electronics regulates the motor voltage so that the fan speed does not alter between 10 to 15 volts.

Safety

Heatsource blown air heaters conform to the latest European standards for both the appliance and the electronics and during the rigorous testing, the focus is very much on safety. The heaters also have to comply with an enhanced version of the Electro-Mechanical Compatibility Directive to ensure they do not interfere with other electronics and that they are immune from interference by other electronics. The intelligent electronics are continuously monitoring the operation of the heater to make sure everything is operating correctly and safely. This includes monitoring of the flame, case temperature, combustion airflow, gas solenoid valve, and voltage. Should any of these stray outside of the predetermined levels, the heater will be switched off and the red light on the thermostat will indicate a fault by flashing a certain number of times.

DISCOUNTS AND PROMOTIONS

Returns/ Refunds

Please be advised some awnings and larger items may be subject to a restocking fee due to the cost of collection and processing the return.

If you are dissatisfied with the goods you have ordered, Leisure Depot will exchange them or give you a full refund, provided they are returned within 30 days in their original packaging and condition..

RETURNS PERIOD & CHARGES
Maximum 30 days from date of delivery.

EXCEPTIONS
Christmas gifts ordered between December 1st and 20th may be returned up to January 21st.
Please allow 10 days for delivery and acceptance of returned goods, Leisure Depot does not refund the cost of returning goods unless the product is damaged.

If you return your entire order to Leisure Depot we will refund the standard shipping cost to ship it to you (excludes order upgrade Next Day), if the item is simply not wanted or ordered in error we do not refund shipping in this instance.

RETURNS NOTIFICATION
You can advise Leisure Depot you are returning goods by email via [email protected]

Please include the following details:
your invoice number (find this at the top left of your invoice)
reason for returning the goods

Please include in the parcel a piece of paper with your name, address and a contact telephone number to speed up the return of your product and to avoid delays.

RETURNS PROCESS & INSURANCE

UK customers should return goods via Collect Plus where possible or use a service like Parcel Monkey, if you are unsure please contact us for advice.

International customers, please return goods using a prepaid, insured, traceable method, clearly marking your package RETURNED GOODS to avoid delays at Customs. Please retain shipping documentation so that in the event that your postal carrier loses the parcel you will be able to claim off them.

We will advise you by email as soon as we receive your returned parcel and process your request for either a refund or replacement as quickly as possible - definitely no later than 30 days from receipt.

Refunds will be credited to the credit/debit card/Paypal account used to pay for the original order, Leisure Depot will inform you as soon as the refund has been processed.

Leisure Depot cannot be held responsible for parcels that are lost in transit when being returned, they are the sole responsibility of the customer.
